Lenny and Gabby - Berwick Golf Club, Berwick PA Wedding Photography

Julie and I have been working with Lenny and Gabby for a couple years now and it was such an honor to be apart the beginning of the rest of their lives.

Getting Ready

The day started off with out a hitch and everything was running smooth. It was certainly comforting to Julie and I that we were familiar with most of the people in the house. While the ladies were getting all dolled up Gabby’s daughter Katie was having a blast running around the house and playing with her toys. She is such a photogenic little girl.

Photos at the House

Once everyone was ready we took some quick formal photos at the house before heading off to the church. We were able to get some nice photos on the back deck. Though I would not consider it a “formal” photo one of my favorite photos is of Katie. Julie went into the house to get her, to take some photos with Gabby, and Julie found her casually laying on the floor with her dog. What a cutie.

St Mary’s Church

St. Mary’s Church in Wapwallopen has a really nice interior. When I first entered the sanctuary I was honestly in awe of how beautiful all the decorations were. The ceremony was very nice. The mothers of the Bride and Groom shared in a ceremony of lighting the unity candles. Lenny’s sister had a very nice reading plus there was a traditional communion.

Outside of the church everyone had their chance to personally congratulate Lenny and Gabby. Julie and I got some fun photos of Katie just being…Katie.

Berwick Golf Club – The Reception

The reception was held at the Berwick Golf Club in…Berwick. It seems like the mastermind behind the decorations was none other than Gabby’s sister. She did a wonderful job, her ideas were really creative and an interesting use of common items.

This was my first time shooting at The Berwick Golf Club and it was a lot of fun for me. I had so many options to work with it was hard to decide what I photo I wanted to take first. I’m really happy with what I was able to capture. I was also very fortunate to capture some candid photos of Katie and her grandfather throwing stones into the pond.

The Cake Cutting

If I were to be honest one of my favorite moments of any wedding is the cake cutting at the reception. I love the cake cutting because there always seems to be a fun surprise just waiting to happen. Sometime the Bride surprises the Groom with a fist full of cake to the face or visa versa. As usual I was not let down, while all the attention was on Mommy and Daddy, Katie decided to swoop in and steal some cake.
